After stop selling the Skyline R-34 in August 2002, Nissan Motorsport started to develop a new road beast based on the Vspec-II. The result was exhibited in the 2005 Tokyo autoshow, and it didn't disappointed: Nismo achieved doubling the in-line 6 cylinder engine power and getting the one of a Lamborghini Diablo (492 bhp). This drift beast had a limited production to 20 units, and its price is rising like the foam.
